Job Description:
This is a camp position for several camps. See our website for our entire camp schedule in all sports. Our Summer begins the first week of June and ends the second week of August. Certified Athletic Trainers will be responsible for scheduling, supervising, and managing a team of student athletic trainers. Ordering supplies, working with camp directors, coaches, campers, parents, and hospital staff. Making physician referrals, accurate record keeping and enforcing treatments to campers.
Qualifications:
Must be certified by the BOC. Experience with respective sport preferred, but work ethic and positive attitude are more important. Must be willing to work as a team with other trainers and camp staff members. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO TRAVEL AND GAIN UNPARALLELED WORK EXPERIENCE!
Athletic Training Student Positions
Job Description:
This is a camp position for several camps. See our website for our entire camp schedule in all sports (intensive camps only, not 5-day camps). Our Summer begins the first week of June and ends the second week of August. Position consist of assisting Certified Athletic Trainer and all medical needs of campers, evaluation and taping of injuries, caring for health and medical concerns. Making physician referrals, accurate record keeping and enforcing treatments to campers. Other duties will include acting as a liaison between camp and camper's parents regarding injuries, and other duties as requested by the Camp Director.
Qualifications:
Must be participating in a curriculum program. Experience with Wrestling, Hockey, and Basketball for respective positions preferred, but work ethic and positive attitude are more important. Must be willing to work as a team with other Athletic Trainers and camp staff members. Typical applicants are third and fourth year students.
